We like to think that our team has a competitive advantage over others. Is it because we come from diverse intellectual backgrounds and have a wide variety of passions? No. Is it because our ambition always allows us to achieve our goals? No. Is it because we’re really, really, really good looking? Maybe. But it’s mainly because of the awesome nicknames we gave each other. D-Nasty (Danish Ajmeri), NaDrizzle (Nadeem Nathoo), and … Mike (Michael Deliakis) not only sound good, but symbolize our team’s creative and exuberant spirit.

It all began on a sunny afternoon in Vancouver during the Summer of 2008 when our paths crossed at Shad Valley. Three boys, one cup…the Shad Cup. It was an experience of a lifetime for all of us and we became very close friends. However, we soon went our separate ways but were finally reunited at the University of Western Ontario last year. Studying Economics and Business, we had unknowingly chosen the same path in our pursuit of higher education where new challenges and opportunities presented themselves to our old, unbreakable bond…James Bond. We decided to take the plunge for NESTEA^® The Recruit™ because it was an opportunity to do something unique and exciting that we were very passionate about.

So who are we and what makes us tick? Danish Ajmeri is from Mississauga and enjoys long walks on the beach, soccer and laughing. He hates it when people ask “Can I ask you a question?”. Nadeem Nathoo is from Calgary but had to move as he was distracting too many women from their studies. It was a public service really. He finds it annoying when someone continually smashes and misses in ping pong then expects you to chase after it through an open door in a seemingly never ending hallway. Michael is from Toronto and loves tackling exciting new challenges. He dislikes when people use the phrase “I’ll give a 110%”, that just fundamentally contradicts the definition of 100%.

We are ready to embark on this journey and overcome any hurdles in our quest to become the winners of NESTEA^® The Recruit™.
